What airport should we fly to?

Telluride offers a unique journey marked with unmatched scenery, heritage and charm. 
Travel to Telluride and Mountain Village is easy, with direct flights from five major hubs in the summer and 11 hubs in the winter months.

Denver Air also offers year-round service from Denver to Telluride (TEX). Denver Air Connection partners with United Airlines, which enables travelers to book and connect through the global United network. The Telluride Airport is also open to general aviation, including charter and private planes. All major charter companies serve the airport, and links to several options are available here. Rental cars are available at the Telluride and Montrose Airports. Southwest, United, Delta, American and Denver Air all offer flights into the region.

Several transportation companies provide service from Telluride to Montrose. Rental cars are also available at the Montrose Airport, but we recommend the ground transportation option as once you arrive in Telluride, as a car is unnecessary.

What times should we plan our flights?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the day you would like to arrive, the earlier the better. Each airline is different and be aware of the shuttle time from the regional and nearest airport.

Will transportation be needed at the resort?

Accepted Answer

No, indpendent transportation is not needed at the resort. Everything is relatively close in proximity and walking distance. A gondola can be used from resort/lodging to town of Telluride as a form of transportation.

Do participants have to purchase lodging through NBS?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants are required to book lodging through the designated resort accommodations. This ensures we can secure resort resources and amenities at discounted group rates for all attendees.

Please note: Discounted lodging rates will become available after participants have completed their registration for The Homecoming Experience.

If a participant chooses to arrange lodging independently, the NBS Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) is not responsible for any pricing discrepancies, availability issues, or liabilities associated with external bookings.

Can I use my epic pass at The Homecoming Experience in Telluride?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the purchase and use of epic pass is available for all riders at Telluride resort.

Epic Pass, Epic Adaptive Pass, Epic Adaptive 5-Day Pass, and Epic 4-7-Day Pass with All Resort Access Holders have access to ski or ride at Telluride; reservations are required*. 
Mobile Pass on My Epic app is not accepted at Telluride. Don't forget to bring your physical Epic Pass card for access!
